Training: Getting the very best training can be broken down into 4 simple elements:
1) The very best instructor: First you need to find the very best pilot and instructor. The WPPGA Paramotor World Champion and US National Glider Control Champion is none other than SUPERDELL Schanze. This is the guy that has set just about every record and first in the sport and you can see him all over youtube doing things no other pilots on earth can do. Not only is he the very best paramotor pilot the world has ever seen but he is also the very best instructor. He trains more people than anyone else in the world and they come from all over the world to train with him exclusively. Is it better to train with the master or a student? If you don’t take the SUPER training then you will likely be training with one of SUPERDELL’S students. His students are lead instructors for schools like Superfly, Paratoys, Flyhalo, Eastcoast PPG and a list of others. If our competitors hire our new students as their instructors it pretty much goes without saying that SUPER training is the very best in the world. Why train with a student when you can train directly with the master himself? SUPERDELL doesn’t hire some joe blow to do his instruction. He does it personally. Now while there are often expert assistant instructors helping out depending on the class sizes the main instruction is always done by the master himself. Also the guy helping you and the guy on radio for your very first flights is none other than the very best in the world himself. There is simply no replacement for experience. Getting the very best instruction is not just your life but it will determine your whole experience in the sport. So #1 on your list should be getting with the very best instructor and that is without question SUPERDELL Schanze. He is so good that his competitors have done everything they possibly can to discredit him. You can see lists of websites bashing, trashing and lying about him in every single way trying to eek out a few students for themselves by using mass disinformation. From fake videos lying that he kicked an owl to suggesting he buys up shelter dogs and fights them to the death, those that don’t have the skill or ability to compete honestly and fairly have made up every lie they possibly could. If you look around for who has the skill though and look at the sheer number of not just those he has trained but their skills and what they have achieved in the sport the facts don’t lie. SUPERDELL is the very best instructor in the world. He is also the tandem instructor administrator who passes off other instructors with their legit BFI (basic flight instructor) rating which is legally required to take passengers. So if you ever want to fly tandem with passengers you will need to take the SUPER training anyway. Countless numbers of people have trained elsewhere only to find that the “free” training or 4 day class with joe blow who has only been flying for 5 months just doesn’t get make you into a skilled pilot. You can see videos of our students who have first gone to 2-3 other schools for training before they finally came to the best. They alll recount the same thing; they learned more in the first hours with SUPERDELL then they did in all their other training and previous experience. Don’t waste your time, money or safety with less than the best. Just do it right the first time.
2) The optimal location: The perfect location is another critical element in getting proper training. The first part of proper training is absolutely mastering control of the glider by flying it like a big kite for 15-40 hours with the best instructor in the world helping you every step of the way with every detail of glider control, body posture and fundamentals that go into true mastery of glider control. How do you fly a kite for 15-40 hours though in a location without consistent wind? You don’t. Trying to train in some farmers field in Ohio for example just isn’t going to happen. Without consistent wind it could literally take 6 months or more to try to get 15-40 hours of real glider control. That is why we travel to the absolute perfect and most optimal locations for training. In the locations we use we often get consistent winds all day upward of 10-12 hours or more per day. This is the only possible way to get the sheer hours of practice required to really master the skills in only a 10 day class. Often the first question people ask is where can I get “local” training? It just isn’t cost effective to try to train in a location that doesn’t have optimal wind. Once you learn how to fly you don’t need any wind at all so you can fly pretty much anywhere anytime but for training having the perfect wind all day long is absolutely critical. So it is by far more cost effective to just travel to the perfect location as apposed to skimping on proper training or trying to squeeze out a few minutes here and there in less than optimal locations. From years and years and years of experience we know without question it is absolutely critical to travel to the perfect location for training or it just doesn’t get done right. Now another huge issue with “local training” is that “local instructors” often feel they have to skip the hard parts of training and get people to the fun part of flying as quickly as possible or they get a high drop out rate. Another great thing about traveling to SUPER training is that you are then a captive audience and the instructors don’t have to worry about skimping on the hard work it takes to get it done right as they don’t have to worry that you won’t come back the next day. Plus training in the perfect most beautiful location is just a lot more comfortable and feels more like an adventure vacation then the sweltering heat and bugs you might get in farmer joes field or the dangers of getting chucked off a cliff on your first days of “training” at some “free flying site”. Those who are dedicated to learning to fly the right way can just make time for the best training in the world in the best location. Other groups admit drop out rates over 80% where those that go to SUPER training have about a 95% chance of becoming very skilled pilots. Perfect practice makes perfect and the way to get the most possible practice is by traveling to the most optimal location to make that possible.
3) Safest & best gear: All the very best gear is provided for you at SUPER training for no extra charge. We use all the very best and latest gear with all the latest technology and safety features. SUPER training has the largest inventory of equipment in the world with upwards of 60 different wings to choose from and often a dozen different paramotors. All too often “training” elsewhere you get stuck on the one old beat up wing & motor and that is all you have. Or you are forced to train on YOUR gear that you had to purchase before training. If you damage the gear you might very well be grounded blowing the whole training opportunity. We have a pile of gear and gear for every size, weight, age and wind condition. Lighter winds to high winds we have the gear to keep on training. From speed wings for high winds to every size and tons of different models for every stage of training we’ve got you covered. Nowhere else on earth do you have this much equipment available to you. Even if you purchase gear through us you won’t have to use your gear for training. You can train on the exact same type of gear so you know exactly what it is like but we let you beat up our gear for your training instead of putting all that wear and tear on your nice new gear. Imagine putting upwards of 80 hours on your nice new gear during training and what that would cost in depreciation. By using our gear for your training you literally save almost the whole cost of the training class just in saving you from wear & tear on your gear. Plus since we have every single size glider as your skills progress you can progress to smaller & smaller gliders and many different models without being stuck on just one single wing to train with. Higher winds, no wind we’ve got you covered with the perfect gear. Pilots from 80 lbs to 400 lbs we have the right gear and tons of it. Zero people have ever died on Flat Top paramotors. They are the safest most durable and most reliable paramotors on the market and you only train on the very best and safest gear at SUPER training to continue our track record of having the very best safety on earth. Flat Top paramotors are the ONLY paramotors that have crumple zones, protection from the prop, quick release harnesses, handless seating, face plant protection, trigger throttles with a grip safety and the hundreds of other safety advancements that are so critical to preventing all the know issues in the sport. Especially on your first flights it is absolutely critical that you are on the very latest and safest gear that is all in perfect working order and precisely maintained by the best staff in the world.
4) The best method: Mastering control of your paraglider BEFORE you fly is well proven to be the very best and safest way to really become a true paraglider/paramotor/trike pilot. Sadly the vast majority of others out there focus only on getting you into the air which has caused lists of injuries & deaths. A paraglider is really an incredible aircraft in the fact that you can almost completely learn how to fly it without ever leaving the ground. By flying it like a great big kite you can learn, progress and master the skills to control it BEFORE you get in the sky. There are really only 2 methods out there. Those that chuck people into the sky BEFORE they even learn to control the aircraft and those that take the time to really do it right and ensure people truly master the skills it takes to control the glider perfectly BEFORE you get into the sky. This doesn’t take a pilot or much intelligence at all to figure which one is best. You can see lists of our videos where every single student can control the wing with no hands on the controls at all and even kite the wing with their eyes closed BEFORE they get in the sky. It literally takes about 15-40 hours of practice controlling the paraglider to really be able to master the skills like this. There is absolutely no possible way you are not only going to master the skills of controlling a paraglider AND have time left to master the skills & launch, landing, flight, maneuvers, soaring, thermaling and other skills in a 3-4 or even 5-7 day class. From years and years of experience we have found that 10 days works the very best. It can only be done in 10 days in the perfect location where you have consistent enough weather to get that much practice into those 10 days. It can ONLY be done with proper instruction from true instructors that actually have the skills. Kiting is not something you go pick up on your own as there are so many tiny little details to glider control that you wouldn’t know what to practice. So make sure you don’t go trying it on your own before SUPER training. Without a master instructor ensuring you practice correctly with every tiny detail that goes into doing it right you would only pick up bad habits trying to do it on your own or trying to learn from “instructors” that don’t even have a mastery level of skills themselves. The best and only method to really learn how to fly properly and in only 10 days is to come to SUPER training. You literally can’t afford not to do SUPER training. One little oops elsewhere and you could end up spending more in repairs to your gear then the whole SUPER training class costs.
THE GUARANTEE: Our training is so good that if you damage any gear during our training WE will pay for it and not you. Just this one factor can and will save you more than the entire cost of SUPER training. Anywhere else YOU will have to pay for any damage done to the gear you train on. Those who have trained elsewhere have reported to spending over $10,000 just in repairs to the gear they trained on. At SUPER training we guarantee our gear and training is so good that we know the odds of you damaging anything are very very slim. We put our money where our mouth is when it comes to your skills & safety. If you trash our $12,000 worth of gear or shred a $4000 glider during SUPER training WE will pay for it and not you. That is yet another huge gigantic factor as that one detail will almost for sure save you more than the entire cost of SUPER training all together. No other school on earth has a guarantee like this because no other school offers the quality of instruction and equipment that we do.

U-Turn USA and powered paragliding has once again almost taken the aviation world into the realms of science fiction. Paragliding is sometimes known as paramotoring and it is a form of ultralight aviation. The pilot wears a small motor on his/her back called a paramotor and energetically runs into the air producing lift from a paraglider wing. Powered paragliding differs from powered parachuting in that powered paragliders use an extremely efficient wing which aids the lifting process. U-Turn USA’s innovative wing allows the small and light motor to be carried on the pilot’s back for a running foot launch but does necessitate a more experienced and competent handling.
The ever-increasing popularity of the sport of powered paragliding is probably due to the low, slow flowing capacity and the totally free and open-air sensation that the pilot does not experience with a conventional light aircraft. Compact and lightweight portability and low and affordable costs of the maintenance of the equipment are major advantages for U-Turn USA and its powered paragliding machine’s enthusiastic sporting participants. The paramotor weighs anywhere between forty-five and eighty pounds, easily enabling the pilot to wear and support it on his/her back during during the lift-off phase. With an enthusiastic but brief run the wing will lift the motor and the harnessed pilot successively.
After this simple take-off the pilot eases him/herself into the seat that was folded during the launch and comfortably sits back while suspended below the inflated paraglider wing. Utilising the brake “toggles” in each hand together with a hand-held throttle control of the powered paraglider is simplistically available. U-Turn USA have designed and produced a powered paraglider that can fly at speeds between fifteen and forty-five miles per hour. Altitudes of eighteen thousand feet can be attained but just about all flying is kept at below five hundred feet above ground level.
In several countries, including the United States, this powered paragliding sport is minimally regulated. No license or specific course of training is essential either in the United States or the United Kingdom. Receiving instruction and advice from a seasoned and professional powered paragliding instructor is highly recommended by U-Turn USA Those countries that do require authentic certification often solicit the use of non-governmental ultralight organizations for this purpose. A pilot of a powered paragliding machine could invest between one to four weeks getting through the syllabus required by most organizations.
With special gear U-Turn USA has made possible the taking “on board” of a second person but few countries, including the United States, would countenance this tandem flying without some form of instruction and certification. Lightweight carts or “trikes” can be mounted on powered paragliders for the further enjoyment of those pilots who prefer not to foot-launch or for those who for some reason are unable to. Research has produced statistics to show that powered paragliding is safer than riding a motorcycle. Some pilots even carry a spare parachute that is designed to open from as little as fifty feet. U-Turn USA together with its powered paraglider has made possible the means for almost anyone to follow the age-old dream of man to fly.
